Two students at an Atlanta school say they were attacked by an anti-gay mob on campus Monday.

According to WSB-TV, the students at the Carver School of Technology were stomped in the head, neck, and chest, and were even stabbed with a screwdriver. One of the victims told the station that the group that beat him yelled out anti-gay slurs during the attack; he added that he has often faced bullying because he is gay.

School district officials and Atlanta police are investigating the attack, the station said.
