The Atlanta Women's Foundation Hosts "Women on Board" Level 2 Workshop This Spring

The Atlanta Women's Foundation "Women on Board" leadership development workshops teach women skills to be effective leaders on nonprofit boa

Are you a nonprofit board member looking to deepen your knowledge about the nonprofit sector and become a more effective leader for your group’s growth? Join The Atlanta Women’s Foundation for the 2016 spring session of Women on Board, a women’s leadership development program focused on developing skills of current board leaders.

The Women on Board program offers a series of trainings and connects women with local organizations seeking talented and knowledgeable board members. To date, Women on Board has trained over 2,000 women in nonprofit board management and connected hundreds of these women with boards throughout metro Atlanta.

Level Two: Advanced Board Training
This workshop explores nonprofit board governance topics in depth, including the financial responsibilities of nonprofit boards, the challenge of building board capacity to support organizational growth, and strategic planning.
