Author Series at Westside Provisions District
Join WSPD and Rebecca Makkai, author of The Hundred-Year House, for an evening of scavenging, secrets and sustenance.
Join Westside Provisions District (WSPD) for the Author Series, an evening of secrets and literature featuring Chicago-based author Rebecca Makkai and her latest novel, The Hundred-Year House, on Wednesday, August 27.
Beginning at 6 p.m., enjoy a “secret” three-course prix fixe meal at JCT. Kitchen and Bar, served family-style in the District’s lower courtyard. Tickets are $89 per guest and include complimentary wine, a copy of The Hundred-Year House and an entry into the evening’s raffle to win a $500 WSPD gift card. For reservations, call 404.355.2252.
Between 6 and 8 p.m., drop by the upper courtyard to pick up a scavenger hunt card. Solve clues to dig up some of the District’s best-kept secrets and whisper the secret password at JCT.’s bar to receive a complimentary cocktail. Participation is free and open to all. Submit your completed puzzle card for a chance to win a $500 WSPD gift card.
