Bastille Day Celebration with Alliance Française of Atlanta

Alliance

Française d’Atlanta (AFA) will host its annual Bastille Day 2014 Celebration

Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 6 to 10 pm,

on the panoramic 18th floor of the Atlanta law offices of Nelson

Mullins, located at 201 17th Street, NW in Atlantic Station.  The event commemorates France’s national

holiday, which is officially celebrated by Francophiles around the world every

July 14th. This year will mark the 225th anniversary

of the Fête de la Fédération and the 224th anniversary of the

storming of the Bastille, both of which reconciled France as a stable, unified

country.

Soirée Blanche is the theme for this
year’s celebration; as we celebrate Bastille Day’s the BLANC in bleu BLANC et

rouge!  Our white party follows in the

footsteps of the epic white parties taken from Parisian nightlife.  Guests will cultural exchange, music,

dancing, lively conversation, a taste of gastronomy with a cold buffet inspired

by the South of France, French sing along and a few surprises.  Guests will be greeted with passed hors

d’oeuvres and traditional French aperitifs.  Honoring the theme, we ask all

guests to dress a WHITE casual chic dress code.

This year tickets are $35 for Alliance  Française members and $50 for non-members.  To purchase tickets and/or an

Alliance Française membership valid for one year, call 404-875-1211 or visit www.afatl.com

to purchase online.
