Caron Treatment Centers and Hanley Center Announces Free Support Groups for Families of Addicts and Alcoholics
Atlanta, GA – In an on-going effort to serve as an addiction recovery resource for Atlanta families, Nancy Zintak, regional vice president of Caron Atlanta, announced a series of free support groups for parents and families of alcoholics and addicts.
“We have a long tradition at Caron of developing support groups throughout the eastern United States,” said Zintak. “Some are for parents new to recovery, some are groups that have been together for years, some have morphed into smaller groups focusing on the Twelve Steps, some invite speakers in and others just focus on self support,” said Zintak. “Caron Atlanta’s parent and family support groups are open to all parents, regardless of whether or not their children participated in a Caron or Hanley treatment program or whether their children are currently in recovery, relapse or active addiction.”
