Caron Treatment Centers and Hanley Center officially combined in July 2012 forming one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit addiction treatment providers in the United States. One of the fundamental goals was to help expand its lifesaving services both in communities they are currently serving, as well as new ones. The extension into Atlanta provides the first opportunity for Caron Treatment Centers and the Hanley Center to enter into a new region, and is an excellent example of the synergistic efforts between both organizations.
“The Hanley Center is excited to extend our commitment to the highest level of prevention, treatment and recovery care into the Atlanta region,” said Michael Hanley, a Caron and Hanley Board Member who is also the son of the non-profit Hanley Center’s founders, Mary Jane and Jack Hanley. “We are confident that with Nancy’s dedication to the community we can make a positive impact and a difference in the lives of men, women and children in the region who are affected by substance abuse.”
Caron and Hanley’s first alumni event will take place on Oct. 24th at 6 p.m. at the Capital Grille in Atlanta. For more information about upcoming events and activities, please visit us online at http://www.caron.org/locations/regional-offices/atlanta

Caron Renaissance offers clinical services in Boca Raton, Florida with nearby residential facilities in Delray Beach, Florida, and the recently opened Caron Ocean Drive, an exclusive program for professionals. Caron Renaissance pioneered the Florida Model of Treatment, and provides a unique transitional therapeutic environment, which allows the individual to gradually assume personal and even professional responsibilities, while being supported and clinically monitored throughout this most critical process. Family members also play a vital role in treatment at Caron Renaissance. Ocean Drive is an innovative program on the southeast coast of Florida that treats individuals and families for addiction and other disorders by using proven, state-of-the-art methods in a safe, secluded and sumptuous environment. Since no two psychological profiles are identical, Ocean Drive tailors solutions to the particular history and symptoms presented, while helping the client maintain fundamental work/life responsibilities during treatment.
Hanley Center is headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida offering a broad spectrum of programs based on the most advanced research in the disease of addiction. From detoxification and medical stabilization to individualized treatment and continuing-care planning, Hanley Center prides itself on offering the most innovative and effective treatment programs designed by professional experts in their respective fields.
