UPDATE: Police Identify Mother of Child Found Behind Dumpsters in College Park
The toddler was discovered by a homeless person on Old National Highway Thursday morning.

UPDATE (3:31 p.m.): College Park police have identified the mother of a small boy who was found abandoned behind dumpsters on Thursday morning.
Police say they are looking for 27-year-old Destiny Walker, who is allegedly the mother of the 1 or 2-year-old child who was found by a homeless person on Old National Highway.
WSB-TV reports that surveillance camera footage of the area at the time in question shows a man walking around the parking lot with a child at roughly 5:30 a.m. After being abandoned by the man, the child was alone for up to four hours before being discovered. Police suspect Walker and the man are staying at a nearby motel.

Walker and the man on the security camera footage could face charges of child abandonment and child endangerment, police said.
ORIGINAL STORY (1:48 p.m.): College Park police are looking for the parents or guardians of a small child who was found behind a dumpster by a homeless person Thursday morning.

WSB-TV reports that the 1 or 2-year-old boy was found near a gas station on Old National Highway at approximately 6 a.m. The homeless person who found the child flagged down a passing motorist, who notified police about the situation and took the child to a nearby Waffle House to feed him.
Police say the child was found with a bag of plastic diapers, but nothing else.
