College Students Skate for Free at the Aquafina Rink at Park Tavern

Now through Presidents Day, February, 20, 2017, college student are invited to ice skate FREE at the Aquafina Rink at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park every Thursday after 8 p.m during adult skate by showing a valid college ID. Gliding back into the hearts of Atlantans year after year, the Aquafina Rink is located in the spacious Garden Tent on the Atlanta BeltLine. Featuring modern amenities for day and night skating, the covered rink is 85 feet long and 40 feet wide and comfortably accommodates 200. While skaters stay warm under the beautiful heated tent with a state-of-the-art sound system, observers are invited to sit back and relax under Park Tavern’s recently renovated, covered patio that features plenty of seating, stone fire pits, flat screen TVs, private cabanas, holiday decorations and much more. With rink and park-side dining available, throughout the season patrons can indulge in homemade hot chocolate, specialty seasonal cocktails, house-made brews, 1/2 price wine bottles every Wednesday, 1/2 off sushi from 10 p.m. to midnight, cooking s’mores over the fire pints, and much more.

The Aquafina Rink at Park Tavern is open Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to midnight through President’s Day, Monday, February 20, 2017.
