Construction Underway on Midtown Mixed-Use Development
Wood Partners' newest project will feature 20,000 sq. ft. of retail space and over 350 apartment units near the Midtown MARTA Station.

Construction crews have begun work on a $100 million mixed-use development that will feature residential and retail space in a 400,000 sq. ft. complex of buildings in Midtown.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Wood Partners’ “33 Peachtree Place” will combine 20,000 sq. ft. of retail space with 369 apartment units spread over two buildings, one of which will reach 21 stories tall. The development is being built on top of a large parking lot which is currently used by Atlanta Gas Light employees and is steps away from the Midtown MARTA Station.
No completion date has been announced, but in late 2013 Wood Partners was optimistic that construction would be finished by 2016. It is unclear if the company’s timetable has changed due to the later-than-scheduled start date of construction.
