Dense Fog Advisory Wednesday Morning

A dense fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning for most of north and central Georgia.
Visibility may be limited to one quarter of a mile or less, according to the National Weather Service.
“Restricted visibilities will make driving hazardous,” according to the NWS advisory. “When traveling this morning, drive with caution, slow down and be prepared for sudden drops in visibility due to the dense fog.”

Motorists are also encouraged to leave extra room between vehicles and to use low beam headlights.
