Developer Seeks to Demolish 880 West Peachtree Building, Build Apartments on Site
The current building on the site houses the offices of law firm Drew Eckl & Farnham.

A development firm with an office in Atlanta has proposed the demolition of a mid-rise office building in Midtown and converting the site into a multi-story apartment tower, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
Trammel Crow Residential has an agreement to purchase the building at 880 West Peachtre Street that currently houses the law offices of Drew Eckl & Farnham, and submitted plans to knock down the building and replace it with a 22-story apartment tower at a Sept. 9 meeting with a Midtown Development Review Committee.
The proposal calls for approximately 350 apartments in the new tower, the Chronicle says. The Development Review Committee asked Trammel Crow to tweak its proposal, including suggested changes to the parking deck, and the developer could re-present their plan as soon as next month.
