Developers Offering Mobile Apps for Midtown Businesses
The apps will allow businesses to communicate with consumers in the immediate vicinity with discounts or loyalty programs.

Business owners in Midtown have a unique opportunity to participate in the development of a pair of mobile apps designed to offer special deals and offers to potential customers in the area.
Atlanta InTown reports that the apps, called “Midtown Red” and “Midtown Loyal,” serve two different purposes but use the same medium; direct contact between businesses and consumers through the use of a shared mobile app.
In Coca-Cola owned Midtown Red’s case, businesses can offer special discounts and bargains to consumers with the app who are physically near the storefront. There is no cost to participate in the initial two-month trial run of Midtown Red. Applications to participate in the trial can be sent to Signup@MidtownRed.com.

Midtown Loyalty, offered by Midtown-based company Sionic Mobile, allows app users to connect at the register through a loyalty rewards system and mobile checkout. The app allows business owners to eschew some credit processing fees and gives them the opportunity to reward app-using customers who frequently make purchases in the store through the app. Business owners who wish to participate in Midtown Loyalty can register at Sionic Mobile’s website.
