Dinner in the City

Dynamic culinary competition and three-course dinner benefiting City of Refuge

City of Refuge, a nonprofit organization working toward community stability and sustainability in Atlanta’s 30314 zip code, is hosting its inaugural Dinner in the City benefit on Saturday, August 29, at its on-campus culinary education facility, 180° Kitchen. Beginning at 6 p.m., Dinner in the City will feature a three-course dinner prepared by 180° Kitchen alumni in tandem with a Chef’s Challenge competition judged by industry experts Ford Fry of Rocket Farm Restaurants, Steve Palmer of the Indigo Road Restaurant Group and Steve Simon of Fifth Group Restaurants.

In addition to the culinary excitement, City of Refuge will be selling raffle tickets for a 2015 model Porsche Boxster or Cayman, including an $8,000 customization package. Raffle tickets may be purchased for $100 each or $1,000 for 14 and are available online now but will also be sold throughout the event, up to 2,000 tickets. The raffle winner will be announced at City of Refuge’s annual gala, The Gathering, on Thursday, October 25.

Raffle and dinner tickets may be purchased here: dinner.cityofrefuge.events.
