Downtown Connector Resurfacing Continues This Week

ATLANTA, GA — The downtown connector resurfacing project continues this week.

The work will take place nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. except on the weekends when work will continue until 8 a.m. During resurfacing, the entire ramp may close nightly from midnight until 5 a.m. However, Brookwood and I-20 interchanges will not have complete ramp closures Emergency vehicles will be allowed access to the ramps. Exact dates may change due to weather or other factors.

Here's the schedule for lane and exit closures:

• Monday, August 1 at 9 p.m., – Tuesday, August 2 at 5 a.m.: I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Fulton St., Central Avenue, GA State University (Exit # 246)
• Tuesday, August 2 at 9 p.m. – Wednesday, August 3 at 5 a.m.: I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Auburn\J W Dobbs\Edgewood Avenue (Exit # 248 B)
• Wednesday, August 3 at 9 p.m. – Thursday, August 4 at 5 a.m.: I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Andrew Young International Boulevard, Freedom Parkway, Carter Center (Exit # 248 C)
• Thursday, August 4 at 9 p.m. – Friday, August 5 at 5 a.m.: Northbound entrance ramp from Irwin Street underpass
• Friday, August 5 at 9 p.m. – Saturday, August 6 at 8 a.m.: I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp 249 B to Pine Street, Peachtree Street, Civic Center (Exit # 249 B)
• Sunday, August 7 at 9 p.m. – Monday, August 8 at 5 a.m.: I-75/I-85 northbound exit ramp to Spring Street, W Peachtree St (Exit # 249 D)
