Downtown Connector Resurfacing Resumes Monday Night

But there will be no lane closures beginning Friday and over Labor Day weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — Resurfacing resumes Monday night on Atlanta's downtown connector.

Here's the schedule for the rest of this week. The Georgia DOT will not be doing any work on the interstate over Labor Day weekend:

Monday, August 29 at 9 p.m., – Tuesday, August 30 at 5 a.m.: three northbound lanes and shoulder will close between University Avenue and Freedom Parkway and two lanes and shoulder will close between Freedom Parkway and the Brookwood Interchange.

Tuesday, August 30 at 9 p.m., – Wednesday, August 31 at 5 a.m.: three northbound lanes and shoulder will close between University Avenue and the Brookwood Interchange.

Wednesday, August 31 at 10 p.m. – Thursday, September 1 at 5 a.m.: four northbound lanes and shoulder will close between University Avenue and Freedom Parkway.

Wednesday, August 31 at 9 p.m. – Thursday, September 1 at 5 a.m.: three northbound lanes and shoulder will close between Freedom Parkway and the Brookwood Interchange.
