Dunkin' Donuts, Law Enforcement Torch Run Support Special Olympics Georgia

On National Donut Day, get a free donut at the Midtown stores, but also learn about Special Olympics.

ATLANTA, GA -- For the 1st annual Dunkin' Donuts Cops on Donut Shops event, participating Dunkin' Donuts have partnered with the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) to raise money and awareness for over 27,000 Special Olympics Georgia athletes.

On National Donut Day, June 3, 2016, from 5-11 am, members of the LETR will be stationed at over 80 Georgia locations to serve every customer information about Special Olympics Georgia and a free donut with the purchase of a beverage.

SOGA provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for 27,110 individuals with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympic athletes and the community.
