Opened in 2012 just steps away from the historic Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Eclectic Bistro & Bar reinvigorates the old-fashioned bistro experience. The menu offers traditionally inspired International dishes with a refreshingly modern twist. Reflecting true bistro roots, Eclectic offers delicious yet reasonably priced food, in an all encapsulated relaxing atmosphere. Already the winner of Open Table’s 2014 Diner’s Choice Award and Diner’s Choice Award for Neighborhood Gem. Eclectic is your destination for a night out with friends, corporate gatherings, or a romantic dinner on its rear patio.
With more than 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Justin Caldarella brings his extensive creative skills to life as Executive Chef and co-owner of Eclectic Bistro & Bar.
A native of California, Caldarella relocated to Atlanta in 2006. Upon his move to the East Coast, Caldarella accepted a day job in IT while attending night school for Industrial Design to fulfill his true passions – creation and design. Caldarella quickly realized his 9-5 wasn’t giving him the creative outlet he needed, and decided to switch career paths altogether. Luck was on his side as he met future wife and business partner, Laura Busuioc, who shared his passion for food, creativity and entrepreneurship. The couple married and opened Eclectic in September 2012.

As the Executive Chef of Eclectic, Caldarella handles all creative aspects of the restaurant from menu development and cooking, to the physical design and appearance of the restaurant.
Having held nearly every role in the restaurant business, the self-taught Caldarella loves to put his own interpretation on popular dishes from around the world, thus defining this name ‘Eclectic.’

Everything Caldarella serves at Eclectic is made is made fresh daily, including the sauces and dressings, which he passionately creates for every dish. As with any celebrated Chef, Caldarella takes his menu very seriously noting that he refuses to serve his guests anything less than excellent dishes prepared primarily from locally-sourced ingredients.
Caldarella lives in Midtown with his wife, Laura, and their newborn son where they are active members of the community. He enjoys doing anything physical and creative and defines Eclectic Bistro & Bar as the destination for enjoying a memorable meal away from home.
