Montessori In Town is proud to be the first AMI accredited Montessori school serving Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods. Founded in 2005, the school offers three Primary (ages 2 ½ - 6+) classrooms. In August 2011, the school will grow to include a Montessori Elementary program. The Elementary program, a multi-aged classroom for children ages 6 to 9+, plans to begin with first
through third grades. The Elementary program complements and provides a continuum from the Primary program.
In addition to their academic-year programs, the school offers a summer camp program, Camp Ladybug, for all children ages 2 ½ (independent in the bathroom) through 7. Camp Ladybug offers nature based exploration, gardening, arts and crafts, cooperative games, and water play. Sessions are offered in June (June 6-10; 13-17) and July (July 11-15; 18-22). Registration forms may be found on the school website: www.montessoriintown.com
Families interested in learning more about the school’s Primary and
Elementary programs are encouraged to schedule a school tour that includes an observation of a Montessori classroom in action. To schedule a tour, please call Nikki Torres, Educational Director, at 404-784-1038.
