The marathon and relay start and end at Atlantic Station.  The course makes it way through Oakland Cemetery, Inman Park, Virginia-Highland, Piedmont Park, Peachtree Street and other areas. For a list of road closures and times, go to http://atlantamarathon.org/documents/download/atlanta-marathon-road-closures-1.
After the race, finishers, family and friends can celebrate in the post-race area. Live music will be provided courtesy of the band Showdown from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the awards stage, and the Blue Moon Pizza Fire Truck will be to purchase slices of pizza.
Marathon: 26.2 Miles ( 6 1/2 hour course limit). Marathon Relay:  four legs of distances varying from five to eight miles.Â
