Award-winning author and illustrator Grace Lin visits TCS. Grace has written and illustrated many picture books, including Fortune Cookie Fortunes and Bringing in the New Year; her book for early readers, Ling and Ting: Not Exactly the Same, won the Geisel Honor in 2011. Grace’s marvelous tale of a young girl on a quest, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, won a Newbery Honor in 2010 and her middle grade novels based on her own childhood, Year of the Dog and Year of the Rat, have been widely acclaimed. Grace will give four presentations to students in kindergarten through sixth grade and she will also sign books.
