JCT Kitchen Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival

The “Attack” is back by popular demand. Due to its continued success in 2011, JCT. Kitchen & Bar is hosting another celebration of the South’s best chefs, farmers and mixologists, who will join forces to benefit Georgia Organics (GO) in the JCT. Kitchen Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival. Each featured chef is paired with a local farmer to create a tomato dish for attendees to sample, while the featured mixologists stir up their own signature tomato cocktails. Festival goers and high-profile judges – Garden & Gun Deputy Editor Dave Mezz, Esquire restaurant features writer John Mariani and actor David Miller, who played Mason Dixon in the original “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” movie – will vote for their favorite dishes and beverages.

The event will also include live music from The Spazmatics and local chef band Five Bone Rack. Sponsors include Don Julio® Tequila, Farmer’s Botanical Small Batch Organic Gin, Kanon Organic Vodka, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Wild Heaven Craft Beers, Uinta Brewing, Melwood Springs, Atlanta Foods International and White Provision.

Cost is $50 per person for GO members and $60 for non-members until June 15. After June 15, tickets cost $70 per person. Tickets can be purchased at
