The Komen Atlanta Race for the Cure is one of Georgia's largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer. All funds from the Race for the Cure enable women to detect and survive breast cancer. The 2011 Race goal is 15,000 participants and raising $1.8 million.
The 1 mile run begins at 7:45am. The 5k starts at 8:30am.Â
