National Honor Society Induction-rescheduled day

Please note that the National Honor Society Induction has been rescheduled to May 16th at 10:30am. If you received a letter of notification in the mail, please plan to attend on this date instead of May 11th. In the spirit of surprise, continue to refrain from sharing this exciting news with your student. The surprise will be worth the wait!
 
Also note that there was an error in the most recent edition of Knight Lights. A student does not need to have 10 reported hours of community service, been involved in a minimum of one school-based extra-curricular activity, or possess a teacher recommendation to be honored at Honors Night or inducted into the National Honor Society. Those are the requirements for the NHS Induction for next year (2011-2012). Currently, juniors and seniors that have a 92% or higher grade point average have been invited to join.
