Design Your Own Robot, August 14, 1 to 4 p.m.
There’s a robot in the High Museum! The Joris Laarman Lab designed and programmed a robot that is building furniture in the galleries. You can watch art being made right before your eyes. After seeing robotic art in action, you’ll have a chance to design a robot of your very own. Will your robot design furniture too?

Make Magical Memories, September 11, 1 to 4 p.m.
Artists can use the same materials in very different ways. See if you can find similarities and differences in how John Marin and Radcliffe Bailey use watercolor in their art. After you’ve gone on an interactive tour of each artist’s exhibition, make a watercolor masterpiece of your very own. Whose technique will inspire you the most?
