Federal Judge Arrested, Charged With Battery
The Alabama judge is accused of assaulting his wife at an Atlanta hotel.

A Federal judge who holds court in Alabama was arrested by Atlanta police Saturday after he allegedly assaulted his wife at a hotel on Saturday evening.
According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police responded to the Ritz-Carlton hotel on Peachtree Street at approximately 10:47 p.m. Saturday. Police spoke with the wife of Judge Mark Fuller, who said that her husband had assaulted her. Mrs. Fuller was treated by paramedics but did not want to go to the hospital.
Judge Fuller presided over the bribery trial of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman and HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy. Siegelman was convicted and sentenced to seven years in prison in 2006.
