If you’ve been thinking about adopting a dog, then today is your day. It's Free Dog Friday at Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS)! Any dog who has been at the shelter for over three weeks may be adopted for FREE! Your new family member will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more for FREE! If you can’t make it to the shelter today, you can still take advantage of a great adoption deal.  It’s the last weekend of LifeLine Animal Project’s ‘Dog Days of Summer’ promotion at FCAS.  For only $25, you can adopt any dog or cat, ages six months or older, who is fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and more – a $200 value.  Hurry, this deal ends on June 30! All potential adopters be screened to ensure they’ll provide good homes.

LifeLine’s FCAS Pets of the Week:  Quincy, Tom and Edgar Degas

German Shepherds are known for being smart, loyal and loving, and our first pet of the week is all of those things.  Meet Quincy, a gorgeous two-year-old German Shepherd mix who has a tri-colored coat.  Quincy is intelligent and initially shy, but he warms up quickly when people are gentle and loving to him.  Quincy gets along well with other dogs, and if you adopt him, you will have a grateful and loyal new family member.  Adopt him this weekend for only $25.

Our next pet is Tom, a six-year-old gray tabby cat.  If you are looking for a cat who is very loving, laid-back and friendly, then Tom is your boy. Tom loves to lay around the cat colony room at FCAS and also likes the other cats here.  He especially likes to meet visitors and to lie in a comfy lap.  Tom is the perfect cat!  He is fully vetted and ready to go home today.  Adopt him this weekend for only $25.
