Free Midtown Events This Tuesday

There are free events happening in Midtown Tuesday, Nov. 12.

MIDTOWN, GA — It’s not yet hump day, but not to worry. Here are a few events happening around Midtown Tuesday to help push the week along. Some are free, others require an entry fee. If there's anything missing, please add to the Patch Midtown Calendar.

DaVinci’s of Midtown’s free Open Mic happens every Tuesday at 1270 W. Peachtree Street NW. Sign up opens at 7:45 and the show begins at 8 p.m. Food and drink specials consist of free garlic bites with beer drafts and free cheese sticks with the purchase of a pitcher. There’s a $5 minimum purchase and one per customer. Free parking is in the adjoining lot and DaVinci's is located across the street from Arts Center MARTA Station.

Living Room Live offers free weekly live performances from local and national musical acts. Tuesday will be the last event until the New Year. Tommy Phenom will take the stage from 8-10 p.m. Check out his music on SoundCloud.

Einsteins, 1077 Juniper Street Northeast, will host an acoustics night with Stephen Daniel. Admission is free and the evening starts at 6:30 p.m. He will put an original spin on songs from the 60s. Find him out on the patio weather permitting, or inside by the bar.

Laugh Atlanta presents Comedy in Midtown on Tuesday from 8:30 - 11 p.m. at Kat’s Cafe. Doors open at 6 p.m. and there’s a 2 item minimum per person. Free parking is available next to the venue. There is limited complimentary seating so early arrival is encouraged. There’s a $10 admission charge after 9 p.m. The show is 21 and up. Patrons can reserve seats in advance through eventbrite.
