Fulton County Animal Services Offering Free Adoptions

All dogs and cats will have their adoption fees waived next month.

Fulton County Animal Services is at full capacity with more animals coming in every day, so the organization is trying a novel approach to clear space: free adoptions.

During the month of August, the “Tail End of Summer” promotion will waive all adoption fees on all puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. Adopted animals will also be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given all their latest shots, which normally costs $200.

Fulton County Animal Services Director Lara Hudson said, ““With 30 plus animals entering the shelter daily, we urgently need public support to help us save lives. By waiving adoption fees we hope to see a record number of people coming into the shelter and giving our wonderful animals a new life.”
