Fulton County DA Denies Daughter's Midtown Party Involved Drugs, Alcohol

The Fulton County District Attorney is denying allegations that a Midtown party held by his daughter involved drug use and alcohol consumption by minors.

Although an Atlanta Police Department report obtained by WSB-TV claims that a security guard at the Twelve Centennial Park Hotel saw more than two dozen minors smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol in a suite at the hotel, District Attorney Paul Howard says that had the allegations been proven true, everyone at the party would have been arrested.

Howard, who was chaperoning the party, added that he did not smell marijuana or see anyone consuming alcohol during the event. He suspects that some uninvited guests may have crashed the party and brought the alleged drugs and alcohol with them.
