UPDATE: Fulton County Inmate Who Died Following Seizures Identified

The 41-year-old had spent three days at Grady Memorial Hospital in Midtown being treated for his seizures.

UPDATE (10:45 a.m.): The inmate at the Fulton County jail who passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital after suffering seizures while in detention has been identified, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Kevin Dummett, 41, was booked on Saturday for reckless conduct, first degree criminal damage to property, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was being held on a $15,000 bond at the time of his death.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 41-year-old man was booked on Saturday for reckless conduct, first degree criminal damage to property, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The AJC adds that the man was sent to Grady on Monday for treatment of seizures, but died from complications of seizures on Wednesday.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Fulton County medical examiner, and his identity will be released once his next of kin have been notified.
