The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office celebrated the achievements of a litany of its deputies and detention officers with a mass promotion event held on Oct. 8.

According to the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, the informal event saw the promotion of five new detention sergeants, a new detention lieutenant, and a new office of detention captain. The ranking system established by Sheriff Ted Jackson at the Fulton County jail has given employees greater career options and improved supervision at the facility.
