Gang Member Convicted for Murder in 2012 Mall Killing

Raemon Moore is now facing a life sentence for the murder of Asiel Parker inside the West End Mall.

An Atlanta gang member has been convicted for murder in the shooting death of a man at the West End Mall in 2012.

According to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, 27-year-old Raemon Moore was at the mall with two other members of the ”Goodfellaz” gang when they came across 21 year-old Asiel Parker and his friends. The two groups began arguing, with Parker and a Goodfellaz gang member taking verbal shots at one another.

Not willing to tolerate the alleged ”disrespect” Parker was showing his fellow gang member, Moore pulled out a gun and took four actual shots at Parker, striking him twice. The shots entered his leg and his chest, with the chest wound being fatal. Moore fled the scene but was arrested using surveillance video and witness identifications through lineups.
