Gas Leak Evacuates Apartments, Business in Midtown
Crew working to repair gas line, with part of Ponce de Leon Avenue closed for beginning of Tuesday afternoon commute.

ATLANTA, GA — A Midtown apartment complex and business have been evacuated due to a reported gas leak.
Ponce de Leon Avenue has also been closed, according to WSB, between Argonne and Myrtle avenues. The road closures will impact the afternoon commute.

The severed line was a two inch pipe, according to an 11Alive report. Atlanta Gas Lights crews are working to cut off the gas and repair the line.
