Genki Noodles & Sushi Celebrates 20 Years of Success in Atlanta

An Atlanta staple since 1996, Genki Noodles and Sushi is celebrating 20 years of success of with anniversary parties at each of its three locations this summer and fall. Kicking off the series of festivities, the first 20-year anniversary bash will be held at the popular Virginia-Highland bar and restaurant on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. The evening will begin with a VIP Customer Appreciation Party from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring two hours of complimentary sake, beer, sushi rolls, appetizers and more for guests who RSVP and check-in on Facebook. From 8:30 p.m. until close, partygoers are invited to enjoy a high-energy night filled with an array of food and drink specials including $1 nigiri, $3 sushi rolls, $3 Genki drafts, $3.50 sake bombs, and $5 cold sake. “As a young boy living in Tokyo, I fell in love with Japanese cuisine in its entirety; from street vendors, fast foods and delicacies from the sea, I consumed and loved it all,” says founder and restaurateur Reid Zeising.

“My goal was to create a restaurant that served an amalgamation of the foods I grew up eating that enriched my life with feelings of comfort, health and happiness; hence the name of the restaurant, Genki. I hope Atlantans and visitors alike have and continue to enjoy their experience here with us as much as I have enjoyed the journey.”
