UPDATE: Missing Georgia Tech Student Has Been Found

A Georgia Tech student missing since last Friday was found Monday morning unconscious along railroad tracks running along DeKalb Avenue and Arizona Street.

The mother of James Hubert, 24, said on her public Facebook page that her son had been beaten up and is now being treated for injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Earlier on Monday morning, Hubert’s Phi Delta Theta’s Facebook page posted a message saying that he had been found and was en route to a local hospital.

The AJC reported early Monday morning that police were asking for the public’s help in locating Hubert, vice president of the fraternity’s Georgia Tech chapter.

Hubert was last seen late Friday evening at The Foundry at Puritan Mill on Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard.

His family had posted an offering a $10,000 reward for information on his disappearance.
