Happy National Pet Day! Meet Our LifeLine Animal Project Fulton County Pets of the Week
Today is National Pet Day. Why not celebrate by adopting a pet?
Saturday, April 11 is National Pet Day, a holiday founded in to “celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives and to create public awareness about the plight of many different kinds of animals awaiting a forever home in shelters and rescues all across the nation.”
Please join LifeLine Animal Project in celebrating National Pet Day at Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) by adopting a pet, volunteering or donating something on the shelter’s Amazon wish list.
And don’t forget, all pets weighing 25 lbs. or more may be adopted for no charge during April as part of our Spring into Adoption promotion, including their spay/neuter, vaccines and microchip! So hurry in, and adopt some love today!

Pets of the Week: June Bug and Amelia
One boy who is the definition of adorable and who you can adopt from FCAS for FREE is June Bug, a petite, 25 lb. boy, who is very sweet and very playful! This two-year-old guy loves to chase balls, play with other dogs and give kisses. June Bug is already neutered and vaccinated, so you can take him home immediately! Please come meet this playful pup today!
Our next pet who also qualifies for the Spring into Adoption FREE promotion is Amelia, a very friendly and gentle dog who is great with children and other dogs. Amelia has a mellow temperament and is just happy sitting by your side. She is a very easy going dog who lets people dress her up (see photo), loves to cuddle and enjoys pleasing people. Amelia is also fully vetted and ready to go home with you today. Please come in and meet her, and be ready to fall in love!
