HERO Worker Struck in Midtown

The woman who allegedly struck the worker was arrested for DUI; the worker is in critical condition at Grady.

A transportation worker is in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital after an allegedly drunk driver struck him while he was setting down flares in Midtown on Saturday morning.

Moses King was on Interstate 75 near 10th Street setting flares to block two lanes of traffic when he was hit by a 2006 Mazda at 1:40 a.m. Saturday, WSB-TV reports. The driver of the Mazda, Lindsey Clark, was arrested for DUI, reckless driving, and serious injury by vehicle.

King’s condition as of Monday afternoon is unknown.
