High Organizes Warhol-Inspired Canned Food Drive

Donations benefit Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The has organized a canned food drive inspired by Andy Warhol's paintings of 32 Campbell's Soup cans currently on display at the Midtown-based institution.

From Friday, Jan. 27, to Sunday, Jan. 29, visitors to the museum will receive $1 off admission for every canned food item donated, for up to $10 off. The discount also can be applied to museum membership.

The Campbell Soup Company already has donated 3,024 cans of soup. Aaron Albrecht, designer at The Beck Group, will create a sculpture using the donated cans. The sculpture will be on display in the Museum’s Margaretta Taylor Lobby.
