Homeless Woman Beaten to Death Near Georgia State Was Mother of Five
Atlanta police are hopeful security camera footage will help them identify the culprit.

A woman who was found beaten to death near Midtown on Friday was a mother of several children and was living on the street after falling on hard times.
The body of Damaris Rainwater was discovered dead inside the Underground Park parking deck on Wall Street near Georgia State University, police said. Rainwater had suffered significant trauma to her head, causing her death. Rainwater is described as a black female in her late 30s.
WSB-TV reports that Atlanta police believe security camera footage inside the parking deck or in the area surrounding the parking deck can help them discover the identity of Rainwater’s killer.
