ATLANTA – August 13, 2015 – Jamie Cwalinski is the recipient of the August 2015 Chapter Champion Award from the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) (prsageorgia.org). This award recognizes his dedicated volunteer work for the Georgia chapter.

Cwalinksi serves on the organization’s Public Relations Committee. Since joining PRSA Georgia in 2011, he also has served as a co-leader of the 2015 Real World Collegiate Conference Speaker Recruitment Team and a co-chair for the Young Professionals Special Interest Group in 2013 and 2014.

“PRSA Georgia has offered me invaluable experience to interact with and learn from so many of the brightest and most talented PR and communications professionals in our area,” he says. “I’m honored to receive this prestigious award and look forward to contributing further to the chapter’s continued success.”

Cwalinski is a senior account executive at MSLGROUP, where he manages content development, media relations and strategic planning for several global B2B technology clients. Before joining MSLGROUP in May 2013, he held a variety of PR and corporate communications roles with several Atlanta agencies, non-profits, and sports and entertainment organizations. He also serves as a seasonal media relations volunteer with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Cwalinski earned BA degrees in journalism and sports studies from the University of Georgia, where he was additionally a member of PRSSA and an editor and reporter at The Red & Black student newspaper.

Because of this type of volunteerism and commitment, the Georgia Chapter ranks as the second-largest chapter in the nation and has been recognized for its best membership practices among PRSA chapters across the country.
