UPDATE: Abducted Douglasville Children Recovered in Atlanta

Three-year-old Peyton Foster and her one-year-old brother Cyrus were allegedly taken by their father, who is now in custody.

UPDATE (5:00 p.m.): Two Douglas County children who were the subject of a Levi’s Call child abduction alert on Sunday were located in Atlanta and returned safely to their mother.

According to 11 Alive News, Peyton Foster, 3, and Cyrus Foster, 1, were found in the company of their father Born Uallah Foster at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard by MARTA police at approximately 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The elder Foster tried to run away from police, but he was captured and turned over to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

It is believed that Foster took the children from their home in their mother’s car. Authorities also suspect he set the mother’s house on fire and slashed the tires of her boyfriend’s motorcycle.

Foster has been charged with aggravated assault, motor vehicle theft, burglary, and criminal damage to property. He is in the Douglas County jail.

ORIGINAL STORY (10:00 a.m.): A three-year-old girl and one-year-old boy have been abducted, prompting Douglas County authorities to issue a Levi’s Call for them.

Peyton Foster, 3, is a black female with black hair and brown eyes who weighs 30 lbs. She was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue pajama and shorts set.

Cyrus Foster, 1, is a black male with black hair and brown eyes who weighs 25 lbs. He was last seen wearing an orange pajama set with “All Star” in blue ink written on the shirt.

No information is currently available on the person who abducted the children.

Authorities are looking for a white 2012 Chrysler 200, with Georgia license plate PNK7641. The Foster children may be traveling inside this vehicle.
