LifeLine Animal Project Presents our Amazing Fulton Pet of the Week!

The animal welfare organization that cares for more animals than any other in Georgia is extending FREE adoptions through October!

The animal welfare organization that cares for more animals than any other in GA is extending FREE adoptions through October!

Did you know that LifeLine Animal Project cared for 15,559 animals in 2014? That’s 43 animals each day! So it’s up to us to find ways to constantly save lives. And we’re doing it again! Throughout October, we are extending our “Fall in Love” FREE Adoption promotion at all of the four shelters we manage:

LifeLine’s Cat Adoption Center

Our FREE adoptions include any puppy, kitten, dog or cat, plus their spay/neuter, microchip and vaccines – all at no charge to you!

Why do we do this? Because more people adopt during this promotion than almost any other time! Last month during our fee-waived promotion, we had 330 adoptions at our DeKalb shelter and 320 adoptions at our Fulton shelter! This is so important, because during the summer, we get 20 to 40 pets coming into each shelter every single day! And numerous studies that have followed pets after adoption show that free adoptions do not compromise the quality of care that the animals receive after adopted. Additionally, we screen all potential adopters to make sure the pets are going to good homes.

How can we afford to do this? Generous funders, including individuals and foundations, make donations to support our programs like this that save lives. And over 740 lives were saved last month alone through adoptions at our four shelters!

So why not join our supporters, and adopt one of the wonderful pets from our shelters? Maybe one of the following pets:

LifeLine’s Fulton County Pets of the Week: Louise and Clover

Meet Louise, a sweet and pretty lab mix who loves people and other dogs. At only 30 lbs., Louise is the perfect size for any home. She loves having group play time with her kennel mates and rolling in the grass. She also loves people, but is a bit shy until she learns they are kind and she can trust them. Louise loves to play ball and is very good natured. Can you show her how much fun life for a dog can be? Remember, Louise is free during October, including her spay, vaccines and microchip!

Our second Pet of the Week is a gorgeous feline named Clover. This one-year-old girl is not only beautiful, but is also extremely sweet and affectionate. Her favorite thing to do is to snuggle with her person, bury her head in their hands and purr away. She even likes belly rubs! Clover is friendly to everyone and would be happy in a multi-cat home or being the only cat. She can’t wait to meet you and give you some love! Clover is also free during October, including her spay, vaccines and microchip!

To meet Louise or Clover, simply drop by the shelter, email adoptions@fultonanimalservices.com or call 404-613-0357. To view dogs or cats available for adoption, please visit the shelter at 860 Marietta Blvd NW, Atlanta, 30318 or go to www.fultonanimalservices.com/adopt.
