LifeLine Animal Project's Holding Adopt-a-thon this Weekend Through Monday! Fees Waved on all Pets!

Meet our LifeLine Pet of the Week, a super gal with an adorable personality who wants to be your best friend, Lady Godiva!

LifeLine Animal Project’s DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS) and Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS) shelters are now caring for over 800 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens who need homes immediately.

To save lives and encourage adoptions, LifeLine is holding an adopt-a-thon and waiving the adoption fee on animals from Friday, July 22, to Monday, July 25! Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.

LifeLine has successfully reached the no kill threshold, defined as saving at least 90 percent of shelter animals, at both DCAS and FCAS, but we need all Atlantans to help us sustain it. You can help keep Atlanta a no-kill city by spaying/neutering your cat or dog, by adopting a pet or by fostering a pet.

Lady Godiva is super sweet like her namesake, but is one of our longest-term residents at the shelter, and we cannot figure out why! This charismatic three-year-old girl loves being the center of attention, so she would do best in a home with no other pets. Lady Godiva has never met a stranger, is smart and energetic and would make an excellent running or walking buddy. She is also super affectionate, and you will melt when she rolls over for belly rubs and kisses! Lady Godiva has been attending group training classes is the class favorite! Come get to know her today, and if you adopt her this weekend, her fee will be waived, including her spay, microchip and vaccines. To meet Lady Godiva, please email adoptions@lifelineanimal.org.
