Los Trompos Performance: Ben Coleman
Free performances by local artists on the interactive outdoor installation Los Trompos at the High Museum of Art.

Join us at the High to experience the interactive setting Los Trompos on the Sifly Piazza with sound designer Ben Coleman’s performance of Zoetrope!
Ben Coleman emigrated to the U.S. from the U.K. at 24 years-of-age. He has lived in Atlanta since 2006 and has worked as a musician, composer, sound designer, performance artist, recording engineer, DJ and more. He is an active participant in Atlanta’s music and art scenes, collaborating with many of the city’s most innovative artists across multiple disciplines.
Zoetrope is the reaction of performance-maker, composer, and sound-artist Ben Coleman to Los Trompos—a vibrant weaving of colorful noise, a 4-dimensional game with very few rules, played with sound-waves, silence, and space. Zoetrope immerses participants in a sensory world that pirouettes around them, creating a playground for happy eyes and ears. Music, movement, and physics collide in a playful attempt to dazzle the senses, and have a lot of fun.
All events on the Sifly Piazza are free and open to the public.
