Major Midtown Access Road Reopened After Crash
The Buford-Spring connector is closed until an overpass can be inspected.
ATLANTA, GA — The Buford-Spring Connector was closed for several hours while the Georgia DOT inspected an overpass that was struck by a tractor trailer early Friday morning.
The truck overturned near Monroe Drive, according to the AJC.
Police said the truck driver dropped his load in a nearby truck yard, but forgot to lower the assembly equipment that he used during the unloading process. That equipment struck the bridge, causing the truck to overturn.
