Man Dies after Three-Car Accident

Atlanta police are investigating a three-car accident in Midtown that allegedly led to the death of a 66-year-old man.

Atlanta police are investigating a three-car accident in Midtown that allegedly led to the death of a 66-year-old man.

On Feb. 5, officers responded to a car accident involving three cars at Northside Drive and 16th Street, according to Officer Kim Jones.

Donald Hilton lost control of his vehicle when he hit a curb, Jones said. Hilton swerved into the other lane and hit a vehicle head-on, she said.

Hilton and his passenger, 66-year-old Harold Huff, sustained injuries and were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. "Mr. Huff later succumbed to injuries he sustained in this accident," Jones said in an email.

The Atlanta Police Department’s Accident Response Unit is investigating the accident.
