UPDATE: Man Who Disappeared from Midtown MARTA Station Found Safe
The 65-year-old left his care home and hopped on a MARTA train on Tuesday evening, police said.
Sandy Springs police have found a man who had last been seen in Midtown on Tuesday night.
Alfred Deboest, 65, was located in Atlanta by police on Wednesday afternoon, a department spokesperson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Prior to his re-discoverym Deboest was last seen leaving the Arts Center MARTA station walking towards Peachtree Street after leaving the Golden LivingCenter on Meridian Mark Road just after 7 p.m., 11 Alive News reports. Deboest took a taxi to the nearby Medical Center MARTA station and took the train to Arts Center, the station says.
Police did not release additional details on how they located Deboest.
