Update: Atlanta Worker Killed By Fallen Tree in Midtown
The man was working on the tree Monday morning when it fell on him.
ATLANTA, GA -- A man died Monday morning in Midtown when a tree fell on him.
Atlanta Fire Department officials told Channel 2 Action News that the accident happened around 10 am.
The man, who has been identified as a city of Atlanta worker, was trying to cut the tree down at 2905 Springlake Drive when it fell. He was in a bucket at the end of an extension boom when a limb struck him and caused him to fall.

The limb then fell on top of the man, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
