Man Killed at Midtown Luxury Apartment Complex

A man was found shot to death in the hallway of a Midtown high-rise on Sunday morning, police said.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 21-year-old Brandon Michael Gibson was shot and killed at the SkyHouse apartments at roughly 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Gibson’s body was discovered in a fourth floor hallway.

Neighbors told the WSB-TV that a music video shoot was underway at the time, but police have not independently confirmed this. Police did say that they suspect all parties involved knew each other, as everyone fled the building immediately after the shooting.

The SkyHouse apartments are located at 12th and West Peachtree streets.
