Man Killed in Single-Car Accident in Atlanta Identified
The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Friday, police said.

The man who was killed in a single-vehicle accident south of downtown on Friday morning has been identified by police.
Philippe St. Charles, 21, was killed when his 2006 Ford Focus left the onramp from Ga. 166 to I-85 south and slid sideways into a tree at approximately 3:30 a.m., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. St. Charles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two lanes of I-85 south remained closed until 6:20 a.m., the AJC said.
